Temuera Morrison MNZM, who was born on December 26, 1960, is a renowned New Zealand actor who first gained recognition in his home country for his role as Dr. Hone Ropata in the soap opera Shortland Street. He is highly praised for his portrayal of Jake The Muss Heke in Once Were Warriors (1994) and its sequel in 1999. Globally, Morrison is recognized for his contributions to the Star Wars franchise, playing the roles of Jango Fett and his many genetic clones, including the clone troopers and Jango's clone son Boba Fett. He originated the role of Jango in the 2002 film Attack of the Clones. His portrayal of Boba Fett includes voicing the character in the 2004 re-release of The Empire Strikes Back, various video games, and fully playing Boba in The Mandalorian (2019–present) and The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022). In 2022, Morrison appeared in a recurring role on Echo 3, a black ops thriller series. His secondary education took place at Wesley College, Auckland, and Western Heights High School, Rotorua.
